I’m Dharna Hooper, a wedding, editorial portrait photographer residing in Victoria, BC. I’ve been in the photography industry since 2012 and have worked on several projects with established magazines and publications. My first and most special photoshoot was published in Vogue Italia in 2013. I have also been published in fashion magazines like Creators magazine and Iconic magazine. My photography leanings started on film, and I kept the habit: think first, click second. I have an intimate and editorial style with clean frames, close moments, and a look that’s distinctly mine. My keen instincts make me drawn to behind-the-scenes portraits: off-guard glances, hands fixing a collar, the quiet in-between takes. I’m based on Vancouver Island and happy to travel for work.
